This August at Cellers Avgvstvs Forvm we are once again committed to gastronomy, landscape and outdoor activities in a safe environment. Next Saturday 7th of August starts a new cycle of “Al Fresco” Dinners. An opportunity to experience a different kind of wine tourism activity, and to enjoy delicious gastronomic proposals paired with Penedes wines and Avgvstvs Forvm gourmet vinegars, with a luxury musical accompaniment.
All this, moreover, in an unforgettable landscape, as once again these dinners among the vines will coincide with the moment of maximum greenery in the vineyards, offering an impressive setting to enjoy this proposal, where you can also enjoy spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea as the sun goes down.
Once again, this year, the members of “Selma Alta Gastronomia” catering, a local company with almost 24 years of experience in the world of cuisine and events, will be in charge of shaping the gastronomic proposal. Once again, they will also offer two dates to experience this wine tourism activity: Saturdays 7 and 21 August. In both cases, places are limited to ensure compliance with all safety and health measures.
After the success of the first edition of the “Cenas al Fresco” last summer, we have opted for a similar dinner format. Thus, the open-air experience at the Penedes winery will begin with those tapas that were the best received a year ago, followed by two light starters. On 7 August, the protagonist at the table will be a veal fillet cooked at a low temperature, while on 21 August the main course will be a delicious charcoal-grilled T-bone steak.
As a novelty, the Al Fresco Dinners incorporate an equally delicious musical accompaniment: the soprano Charo Tris will perform versions of songs from different genres throughout the two dinners, while you enjoy the specialities paired with Avgvstvs Forvm products under the stars.
