In a report analyzing the best wines from the DO Penedes, the guide highlights the Xarel·lo de Mar white wine from Avgvstvs Forvm as one of the essential products, which also values with an excellent rating .

The Xarello variety has been traditionally used in the Penedes as one of the main types of grapes in the production of cava and other types of sparkling wines.
